Along the way, Cushing is offended to learn that Tucker wants to capture or kill it.... The American's impatience & recklessness quickly puts them all in danger, & it later turns out he's been involved in scandalous hoaxes before.... Incredibly talky, but watchable, with an adequate amount of suspense.....

They find them, & learn their Swiss guide is evil with a really goofy secret.... Lots of footage of the cast climbing cliffs, glaciers & trudging through waste deep snow, as well as pretty video postcards... The reveals tend to come at really odd times in a way that's laughable, & I had loads of fun riffing on this one!!! Includes "rediscovered" footage that's horrible redubbed & captioned...

Four soldiers are trapped behind enemy lines..... They need to walk to a river & build a raft, but before they can float away, things go sideways.... The men bicker, the leader pontificates, they kill some enemy soldiers for their guns & kidnap a local girl, & two of the men lose it... The page mentioned Stanley Kubrick, so I thought it was worth a try.... Artsy & confusing, lots of corny references to The Tempest... Plenty of close-ups of people's faces while someone else is talking, kinda like in Beast Of The Yucca Flats...

After ten years on a chain gang, Kinski is pardoned for a crime he didn't commit.... He sets out for revenge, meeting the son of the man who framed him, who doesn't know who he is.... He asks the young man to tell his father to expect him & gives him a canteen.... Kinski then goes to an old friend to buy a horse & a rifle.... The old friend expects a storm, as do the people of the nearby town... Back in the town, the young man tells his father about the meeting & gives him the canteen... His father knows what it means, and sends his crew out to kill Kinski.... Kinski uses the storm & an old underground tunnel to pick off the guards one by one.... As the bodies pile up, nerves are frayed, & the young man grows increasingly suspicious..... Decent little spaghetti western, decent paced....

So there's an opening crawl about how Earth was abandoned after WW3, & the universe is dependent on an anti-radiation drug that's only found one place in the universe.... In a capital city on the moon, traffic controllers are watching a cargo ship that's ignoring attempts to contact while it's set on a crash course.... Meanwhile, a scientist & a politician are bickering over the need for a defense ship.... Everyone is safely evacuated from the dome as the cargo ship crashes into it.... The dome is immediately rebuilt by planes spraying chemtrails, while inspectors find a robot in the wreckage of the ship.... They decide to rebuild the robot & reprogram it to be friendly.... Then Jack Palance calls up & demands surrender of the universe, so the scientist, his son & his girlfriend decide to steal the defense ship & head for the planet he's on.... This is the movie I thought I was going to watch when I sat through that porno a few months ago, and somehow, less memorable.... Gets pretty slow & plodding.... Tries to insert "HG Wells" in the title, & even swipes the name JOHN CABAL, even though it has no relation to the Wells novel..... Feels like it was supposed to be a TV movie or an unsold pilot.....

A young black biker plans to become leader of his gang by killing the leader of a white gang, but after a ridiculously long chase, he's killed in a crash.... He takes the boy's "colors" back to the black gang & tries to smooth things out & goes back to his own gang..... Meanwhile, a stranger shows up posing as a stereotypical southern racist who wants to join the gang... One gang member is suspicious of everything about the guy, while the leader thinks he's okay.... At that same time, a local cop visits each gang & convinces them that the other is about to move in on their territory..... Amusingly, this movie uses pretty much every cliché I've ever heard of, with lots of long drawn out scenes of rides & bad music.... Only exception, there's a central figure who's not really a protagonist... None of the characters have any redeeming qualities.....

Of course, businesses & governments everywhere want to get their paws on this new doo-dad, but the scientist wants to keep it.... Then, during a live, worldwide demonstration, he dies, and the movie turns into a head scratching who-done-it... About an hour long, with choppy editing, and a pair of ethnic house servants who live up to antiquated stereotypes... Been meaning to watch this for years, & now it's over with... Gonna try & make it a twofer tonight!

The boy then goes to the city to sell the gold, which gets the attention of a few thugs... Next up, we're introduced to an eclectic group on a train trip in the 1930s.... While passing through the mountains, they learn part of the track is missing... The train wrecks & only a few survive the plunge... After passing through a valley infested with foot long flesh eating centipedes & deadly booby traps, they end up at the village of the old man, who has no intention of letting them leave.... Most of the characters aren't too bright, the plot is mostly predictable, & now I have a headache....

In return, he's given a suitcase with the DNA of a "real live girl", which he later learns he must deliver to Jupiter (an all male colony), in exchange for a sixteen year old boy, who he must deliver to Venus (an all female colony), and then he'll be set for life.... Things take a turn when it's revealed the narrator of this story is really the murderous Professor Hess, who's in a mean mood after nobody remembers his birthday..... Artsy black & white, with lots of insider jokes and impromptu musical numbers from indy artists one might expect from a Penelope Spheeris film.... Pretty weird, but watchable.........

In any event, one night the thing works, and there are jokes for about ten or fifteen minutes.... Most of the jokes come out of slob humor centered on 4 letter words and an ignorant sense of narcissism.... After the jokes, the movie starts to slow down, and at the halfway point, starts to take it's self seriously in a way it never really recovers from..........
