Peace Symbolism

Just saw a news story about a bunch of people offended by a cross. Nothing new, I know. My Mom's offended by my peace symbol, because in 1989, somebody started that crazy rumor about it being a satanic symbol representing an upside-down cross. It's interesting how one person's logo representing peace, hope, & serenity can offend, cause fear, hatred, & discourse in others. #SaidTheGnatToTheGnu

New trend of teachers walking off the job. Every time I hear about crap like this, I feel mildly vindicated of the fifteen hellish years of my life that I'll never get back. On the same token, I have to keep in mind that there's always gonna be a "MAJORITY" that just doesn't get it.
