A scientist has built a moon rocket.... Meanwhile, a fellow scientist tries to stop him, not out of spite, but because all his lab animals keep coming back dead, & he's worried about losing someone so prominent.... The only solution is to steal the ship, along with his assistant & a schoolboy.... But once on the moon, a mechanical failure & navigational error could leave them stranded.... Fairly decent little fantasy for the first half, but then gets a bit plodding.... The sets, props, scale models & animated sequences are pretty cool...
